旧久野邸は「久野食糧」の会長であった久野勘助の邸宅である。
山口県出身、下関の米相場で莫大な資金を築いた勘助は、出光興産の創業者 出光佐三や、かつての門司市長で船舶業を営む中野真吾らと共に「門司の三羽烏」と呼ばれ、財政会で大きな権力を持ったとされる。

Former Hisano Residence
The Former Hisano Residence was once the home of Kansuke Hisano, chairman of Hisano Shokuryo. Originally from Yamaguchi Prefecture, Kansuke amassed great wealth through the rice market in Shimonoseki. He was known as one of the "Three Titans of Moji," alongside Sazo Idemitsu, founder of Idemitsu Kosan, and Shingo Nakano, a former mayor of Moji and a shipping industry leader, wielding significant influence in financial and business circles.
